Heaven’s Gift

A gift from Heaven
Pure
Crystal
With love
Dew-kissed
Protected
Its taste
Of diversity
And abundance,
Happy moments,
Safe moments,
Nurturing moments,
Moments of acknowledgement –
My choice!
And when I cannot
Savor it
I know
It is
Because it was
Not meant for me.

I have enough for the day.
At night
My pantry
Is bare.
But I am certain
When the sun rises
I will receive
Appropriately mine
At my doorstep
Or perhaps
A bit further
My due share.
It fills me with trust
For
The morrow
And constant prayer
My life is
Manna

Composed (mainly) by Leah Dembitzer, Gita Landau, Esther Rubinstein, Sara Seidman
